Introduction to CDM
The Centre for Defence of Morality (CDM) is a vital non-profit organization situated in Lagos, Nigeria. Operated under the guidance of the Global Outreach Directorate of Legacy International Christian Center (LICC), CDM is dedicated to the transformation of youth. Our mission is to empower teenagers and young adults to harness their potential as positive change agents in society.
Our Program: Fostering Strong Character
CDM focuses on instilling strong character and leadership skills in our youth. We believe that by promoting responsible choices, especially concerning abstinence and resisting harmful behaviors, we create a foundation for the youth to thrive. Our various programs are designed to educate young people about the importance of virtuous living and the consequences of indulging in negative cultural influences.
The Chastity Parade and Concert
One of our signature outreach events, the Chastity Parade and Concert, serves as a platform to engage with young people and their families. The purpose of this event is not only to promote the values of chastity but also to educate attendees about the dangers of sexual deviances and substance abuse. Through music, inspiring speeches, and interactive activities, we aim to leave a lasting impact on the hearts of our participants.
